RISMEDIA, March 13, 2009-Prudential Rand Realty announced that Linda DeFilippo, a licensed real estate salesperson and award-winning agent with the firm’s Nanuet office, will appear on an episode of “Desperate to Buy” at 11 p.m. on Monday, March 16 on the HGTV network.
“Desperate to Buy” explores every aspect of finding and buying a new home for buyers that are in a time crunch – they need to move because of a new job, have a baby on the way, etc. Each episode follows a time-pressured buyer and their broker as they race through the tenuous real estate world, where offers can be rejected, deals can fall through and sellers can pull out at the last minute.
DeFilippo will appear on the episode with her buyers, Antoinette and Dan Grijavala. The Grijavalas are desperate to find a house after giving up their lease on a condo in Haverstraw and moving in with Antoinette’s parents in New City. The couple is expecting a child in two months and hopes to be settled before the baby arrives. Since the Grijavalas want to be close to Antoinette’s parents and to work, DeFilippo takes the couple to a series of New City homes on the market in hopes that they will find what they’re looking for.
“Dan and Antoinette were wonderful to work with,” said DeFilippo. “They were so excited about buying their first home. It is always fulfilling for me when I help and educate new buyers with the home buying process. Knowing I am helping them embark on a new chapter in their lives is very important to me.”
