RISMEDIA, March 19, 2009-Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Orange County today celebrated the opening of the company’s first entertainment conference venue in Huntington Beach. Located at 5355 Warner Avenue, the approximately 1,850-square-foot wi-fi enabled space represents an entirely unique venue for interacting with real estate clients and conducting business.

“The new venue combines technology with comfort so the client and our sales associates can discuss their needs and connect in the same way they do in their home,” said Jeff Culbertson, regional executive vice president for the Southwest and Sacramento Region of NRT LLC, the parent company of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “It represents a new wave of office environments for our company as it transitions away from the bricks-and-mortar brokerage firms of the past to a modern wi-fi enabled space where sales associates can relax and entertain their clients. We’re setting a whole new standard for conducting business.”

Designed to be a casual setting, the Bahama-themed venue houses three lounges, two conference rooms, a coffee bar, resource center, office, work stations and an outdoor patio. Technological features include full wi-fi capabilities for surfing the net and a 42-inch flat screen monitor for viewing local properties online. Approximately 50 sales associates from Huntington Beach will work out of the venue.

“We intend to use this platform for other branch offices in Orange County in the very near future, and then expand it to other areas in Southern California,” said Culbertson.

With the addition of the new Surf City space, the company now operates 14 offices in the Orange County area.
