Tom E. Chance is a second-generation real estate leader whose roots in the Northern California Tri-Valley area date back to the early 1950s. A licensed Realtor® since 1981, Chance currently serves as director of Career Development for Legacy Real Estate & Associates, where he oversees the professional growth of one of the San Francisco East Bay’s largest brokerage networks. In 2025, Chance launched the Legacy Leap! program, a high-impact eight-week course designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world productivity. By focusing on contract mastery, consumer service excellence and strategic business planning, the program has become a vital engine for agent success within the firm.

Despite his executive role, Chance remains an active, award-winning top producer, bringing a current and practical perspective to his coaching.
