Fillmore Real Estate Announces Charles Olson as COO

RISMEDIA, March 24, 2011–Fillmore Real Estate is pleased to announce that Charles Olson has joined its management team in the role of Chief Operations Officer. Olson worked for two of the largest real estate companies in New York City, where he earned numerous awards implementing technology in innovative ways. His ability in solving complex problems and analyzing operational issues, along with his motivational management style has helped  those companies achieve much greater operational efficiencies and increased sales volume, all while keeping expenses to a minimum.

Placing Olson in the role of COO was a natural fit for both parties. Previously, Olson specialized in Information Systems, but was more drawn to the operational aspects of the business. “To be an effective IT leader you must understand all the operational issues involved and understand the impact of change to both internal and external customers,” says Olson.

“Having brought several organizations through major changes, Charles has been through the process before and is well suited to foster change here at Fillmore Real Estate,” says John Reinhardt, president of Fillmore Real Estate. “Fillmore is at a point where we have to change the way we do business and having Charles on board will help us make these changes in the most effective way possible.”

Born, raised and educated in Brooklyn, NY, coming to work at Fillmore Real Estate is sort of a homecoming for Olson. He knows the neighborhoods, its characteristics and the industry, and grew up seeing Fillmore “For Sale” signs throughout his beloved borough. “I’ve always admired Fillmore Real Estate and the opportunity to work with Mr. Reinhardt is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.  I look forward to doing great things and making Fillmore a household name in New York City and beyond,” says Olson.
