Coldwell Banker Real Estate has announced its 2012 year-end award recipients in numerous company, office and agent categories, along with naming the winners of the brand’s most prestigious awards: Chandler Barton Spirit, Preserving the Trust and Coldwell Banker Hero of the Year.
Budge Huskey, president and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, recently announced the award winners in a video made at the famed Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The video commemorates the brand’s “Blue Carpet” advertising strategy, which features the new Coldwell Banker® “We Believe” commercial that will run during this year’s Oscars (February 24) and Emmys (September 22). Commercial spots also ran during the recent Golden Globes and GRAMMY Awards.

Jade Mills Sets All-Time Agent Sales Volume Record: Jade Mills, a certified Coldwell Banker Previews International sales professional with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Beverly Hills, Calif., had 62 transactions in 2012, which totaled an all-time record of $338,938,000 in sales volume in 2012. In 2012, Mills participated in 12 transactions over $10 million. With more than 30 years of experience, Mills consistently ranks as one of the top-producing residential real estate agents in the world.
The Jills® Set Top Team Sales Volume Record: Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg, the top-producing Coldwell Banker Previews International sales team with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Miami Beach, Fla., closed 125 transactions in 2012 resulting in a new record of over $474,769,883 in sales. Having represented multiple trophy real estate sales throughout South Florida, while serving the specialty luxury real estate markets of Miami and South Beach, this team featured a video tour of the exclusive listing Casa Casuarina ($100 million ) and 17 Indian Creek Drive ($38,000,000), among multiple other South Florida listings. This distinguished Miami luxury real estate team has been ranked as the No. 1 Coldwell Banker team worldwide.
Coldwell Banker Chandler Barton Spirit Award – Ken Schmidt, CEO of Coldwell Banker Schmidt, REALTORS with 40 Coldwell Banker offices in the northern and western portions of Michigan, earned the award for unwavering commitment to his sales team, staff and consumers while persevering through the housing market decline in the Michigan. Schmidt has a strong commitment and dedication to ongoing professionalism for the growth of his Michigan office group, as well as achieving success in the face of challenging economic times. Named after Chandler Barton, president of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC from 1989 to 1996, this accolade honors a “can do” attitude and ongoing legacy that leaves a lasting impression on the Coldwell Banker System through leadership, vision and engaging personality.
Coldwell Banker Preserving the Trust Award – Connie Johnson, sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Central Brandon, Fla., received the award, which honors the generosity, leadership and excellence that an individual brings to help champion the cause of equal opportunity and independence for those in need of housing assistance or expertise. Her extensive work includes supporting the NFL’s Super Bowl project, “Kickoff to Rebuild”, while serving as president of Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB), and acting on her love of pets by supporting the local Humane Society of Tampa Bay, chairing the Hillsborough County Animal Advisory Board, founding Florida Big Dog Rescue and volunteering for many other local organizations.
Coldwell Banker Hero of the Year Award – Christina Griffin, sales associate at Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in South Tampa, Fla., was awarded the inaugural Hero of the Year award for her ongoing dedication and support of increasing community awareness. She organized the first 5K walk for families that lost their homes due to foreclosure, raised money for the Tampa Bay CARES Walk for the Homeless and is continuing to make her community a better place through other ongoing charitable work. Brokers, sales associates and staff affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Heroes program donated more than $4.5 million and 49,000 hours to charitable causes worldwide in 2012.
