ERA Real Estate Expands Technology Partnership with Homes.com

ERA Real Estate, a global leader in real estate franchising, and Homes.com, a leader in enterprise-level real estate solutions, have jointly announced a renewal and expansion of their technology and marketing partnership. ERA Real Estate joined forces with Homes.com in 2011 to develop and launch the new ERA.com website powered by the Homes.com and HomesConnect technology platforms. As part of the 2013 agreement, ERA Real Estate has developed an aggressive discount program to offset the cost of an industry-exclusive agent website, the ERA Pro Edition of the popular HomesConnect agent website subscription.

In addition to being a fully featured IDX website, the new ERA Pro edition website comes with two key enhancements, Social Impact Broadcaster and Neighborhood Envoy. Social Impact Broadcaster publishes property listing details and updates to social media channels and Neighborhood Envoy integrates multiple local data sources into easy to read community reports for clients.

“Our unique technology strategy puts brokers and agents at the forefront of consumer search by providing every ERA office a fully customizable branded website, combining the power of the brand with local market experience,” said Christopher Trick, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for ERA Real Estate. “This smarter approach, which drives leads directly to the broker, has doubled page views, tripled average time onsite and resulted in a five-fold increase in lead conversion since launching the site one year ago.”

According to the company, under the new agreement, Homes.com will continue to host and provide the technology powering ERA.com and all 600 ERA offices will continue to receive fully customizable ERA Edition HomesConnect IDX websites, all of which are connected to receive traffic from ERA.com.

In addition, all 13,000 ERA agents will continue to receive an ERA Edition HomesConnect online dashboard with access to social networking, lead and contact management and email marketing.

“As a leader in search technology and consumer traffic, Homes.com is proud to help advance ERA Real Estate’s commitment to leveraging innovative technology to drive brand objectives,” said Brock MacLean, executive vice president of Homes.com. “We’re delighted to continue powering ERA.com, while providing innovative marketing solutions to its agents and brokers.”
