Gardner REALTORS® has recently teamed up with the New Orleans Mission to assist them in expanding the Women’s Center from 16 beds to 38 beds, and to add a full-time therapist, which will provide a safe place exclusively for women within its current facility on Baronne Street in Central City, the company has announced.
In addition, Gardner Realtors is launching fundraising efforts to buy an adjacent property to expand the women’s facility and bring in more women off the streets. The company hopes to give the homeless women of New Orleans and surrounding areas a place to call home and a chance to restore their lives. Gardner Realtors has set a goal of $300,000 dollars needed in order to achieve this, and have already received $110,000. In order to complete this goal, they are asking for donations.
