MRIS Launches Mobile App Platform to Edit Real Estate Listings On-the-Go

MRIS recently announced its official release of the first MLS developed mobile app with the ability to edit real estate listings anywhere and anytime.

The MRIS Mobile App, available for both Apple and Android devices, allows real estate professionals to easily make important edits to their listings directly from their smartphones and tablets. For residential sale or rental listings already submitted to the MLS, real estate agents can update the most commonly edited fields including list price, status, internet remarks and expiration date. Through the app, MRIS customers will also have the ability to update, delete and replace listing photos.

“Today’s real estate professionals require access to the most advanced tools through mobile platforms in order to meet and exceed the needs of their clients,” says Andrew Strauch, vice president of Product Innovation and Marketing at MRIS. “Through the MRIS Mobile app, agents can easily edit listing data right from their smartphones, whether they are out of the office showing houses or meeting with clients.”

Agents may edit fields for any listing with “On Market” status, making it easier for agents to keep information up-to-date and in compliance in a more timely fashion.  From the “My Active Homes” screen, listing agents can simply tap on a listing to view the editable fields for any of their available listings and touch the Edit icon to make changes.

“We are excited to bring a mobile solution to our customers that will allow them to improve their productivity and efficiency. MRIS Mobile will now let agents update their listings on the fly after contracts are signed, update their listing’s remarks to reflect recent changes to the property, and manage photo order and description,” added Strauch.

The MRIS Mobile App, which joins MRIS’s suite of mobile products including Homesnap Pro, ShowingTime, and Close It!, has an extremely intuitive interface with consistent functionality across all major platforms.  The app is compatible with iPhone and iPad iOS version 7.0 and above and Android version 3.0 and above. To download the free MRIS Mobile App, visit the Google Play or Apple iTunes store or visit http://www.MRIS.com/MRISmobile for more information.
