RE/MAX Found Most Influential on Social Media

Among real estate firms with substantial operations in Colorado, RE/MAX has the greatest social media influence. That’s according to the second annual Report on Social Influencers from the Denver Business Journal. The report found that through its social media presence, RE/MAX does the best at engaging its social audiences in the real estate category.

“Social media is a huge part of our daily interaction with our partners; RE/MAX agents, home buyers and sellers. A strong organization listens and delivers value through friendly interactions,” says Adam Contos, Senior Vice President, Marketing at RE/MAX, LLC. “We feel it’s important to always give value through social conversations and that’s proven to be rewarding.”

The Social Influencers Report used data provided by the analytics website Klout that ranks companies on their impact across numerous social media channels. With a Klout score between 1 and 100 and the ability to drive action based on their social program, the top five organizations from nine different industries were ranked.

The five highest ranked real estate companies included in the Journal’s report and their respective Klout scores are:

1. RE/MAX, LLC, Denver, Colo. – 79
2. CBRE, Los Angeles, Calif. – 75
3. Keller Williams Realty, Austin, Texas – 68
4. Cushman Wakefield, New York, N.Y. – 64
5. Usaj Realty, Denver, Colo. – 60

Cory Jo Vasquez, Director, Digital Communications says the RE/MAX social strategy was designed to encourage consumers to get to know the organization and its agents better. “We provide a lot of support for our agents through our social sites, so they can be a more valued resource to their home buying and selling clients.”

In an effort to provide value and expertise, RE/MAX conducts an active campaign on numerous social media platforms. The result is an effective vehicle that rises above the noise to communicate with over a quarter million followers.
