If ever there was a time to shine a spotlight on the first responders, health care workers, teachers and military personnel that sacrifice so much for others, it was in 2021. Abby Waltz and Homes for Heroes have been doing this for a long time, but this year amid the continued trials of the pandemic she made so much more happen to recognize and assist these people. Hosting the first ever national “For Heroes Day,” Waltz continued to work within the real estate industry to raise money for these incredibly important workers and connect them with the agents and mortgage professionals that can help them achieve the dream of homeownership. Waltz believes that recognizing those special members of every community who protect and care for their neighbors is a vital role of real estate professionals.
