Husband and wife Creig and Carla Northrop lead Northrop Realty, A Long & Foster Company, as founder and CEO, and CEO, respectively.

In 2000, the Northrops founded The Creig Northrop Team, the No. 1 team in the nation an unprecedented three times. In 2018, The Creig Northrop Team became Northrop Realty, A Long & Foster Company, and since then, Northrop Realty has grown into a full-service brokerage with 200 professional employees. In the first year, the brokerage completed 2,542 transactions valued at more than $1 billion, cultivated 20 new teams and opened 10 offices.

Its leaders and employees are also dedicated to giving back. The firm sponsors, participates with or hosts over 50 charitable causes each year. 

Creig began working alongside his mother in real estate in his youth and has been involved in the industry for most of his life. When Creig became a real estate agent, he set the goal to be the best in the business. Carla serves as CEO of Northrop Realty. She has a background in marketing and law, as well as over 15 years’ experience in real estate. She has also served on the board of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce in Maryland.

Northrop Realty has earned several industry awards, including No. 1 Real Estate Team in the Nation, No. 1 Real Estate Team in all of Long & Foster for 10 consecutive years, and No. 1 Overall Top Producer at Long & Foster. The Northrops have received numerous individual awards recognizing their professional accomplishments, as well.
