Caroline Pinal

Caroline Pinal, co-founder of Giveback Homes, empowers real estate agents to help others. Since 2013, Pinal, co-founder Blake Andrews and the Giveback Homes team have worked with several leading real estate companies, including Concierge Auctions, Zillow, Realtor.com, The Agency, The Boutique and Docusign, to fund and build over 200 homes in Central America and to support over 80 affordable housing projects across the U.S. In addition, Giveback Homes has provided clean water for communities in El Salvador, Colombia and Bolivia.

In 2019, Giveback Homes partnered with Zillow on a Disaster Relief Fund to support members of the real estate community who were victims of recent natural disasters. Zillow committed to provide a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $20,000. Impacted families received appliances, mattresses and other household items to help them rebuild their lives. 

Pinal previously worked at TOMS, a business that pioneered the one-for-one model by donating shoes to children in need. Her colleague, Blake Andrews, shared his goal to bring a sustainable giving model to the real estate industry, and Pinal was inspired to apply her insights and experiences from TOMS to realize that vision.

Pinal was born and raised in the Mojave Desert and studied journalism at Cal State Long Beach. She later worked at Fox News and The Walt Disney Company. Pinal knew from a young age that she wanted to use her experiences and storytelling skills to give back.
