Dermot Buffini is CEO of Buffini & Company, one of the largest coaching and training companies in North America. In 2019, Buffini & Company launched an agent training program called The Pathway to Mastery and released a totally revamped and redesigned productivity and contact management tool, Referral Maker CRM. Additionally, the company was voted one of San Diego’s Top Places to Work for the fourth year in a row.

Buffini says his greatest professional accomplishment over the past year was building an outstanding leadership team that understands clients’ needs, company goals and the importance of company culture.

“Bigger is not better… better is better,” says Buffini. “Our clients are a community of the most professional and productive agents in the industry. They invest in coaching and training so they can be better for their clients, and to secure a referral, which is the ultimate gift an agent can receive.”

Buffini joined the company in 1999 as senior vice president of business development. Since he became CEO in 2013, his aim has been to challenge and transform what it means to be an impactful leader, working to ensure each team member has the tools to help clients win in business and in life.

Buffini has more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience and has worked in the retail, financial services and transportation industries. He immigrated to San Diego from Dublin, Ireland, in 1999 and currently resides in the North County San Diego area.
