Nick Bailey

RE/MAX

In September 2019, industry veteran Nick Bailey had a “coming home” moment when he rejoined RE/MAX in the newly created position of chief customer officer (CCO). Bailey, who had stepped down as president and CEO of Century 21 Real Estate earlier in the year, previously spent over a decade in leadership roles at RE/MAX World Headquarters.

As CCO, Bailey oversees all support services provided by RE/MAX to its expansive network of franchisees and affiliates, with an unwavering focus on the relationship with broker/owners. He says, “Coming home to RE/MAX to help lead the network and make brokers’ and agents’ careers more rewarding has been pivotal, and I am humbled to build on the great foundation rooted in this company.”

The company recently announced a fourth-quarter 2019 recruiting and retention growth initiative called RE/MAX Plus One to help cultivate a healthy level of competition. Bailey says RE/MAX strives to “ensure goals are achieved, talent is developed and the business is poised for long-term growth.”

A licensed broker with 23 years of industry experience, Bailey initially joined RE/MAX in 2001. His other experience includes being a senior vice president at Market Leader and a vice president at Trulia/Zillow. Bailey bought his first investment property as a teen and earned his real estate license at 21.

“I love brokers and agents,” he says. “I was one. I am one, and my passion for what they do and how they do it is what drives my never-ending enthusiasm for this business.”
