In 2021, Steve Hayes helped the Northshore Area Board of REALTORS® relocate to a larger and less expensive office space and redesign and modernize their logo as part of an effort to achieve larger goals. Under Hayes’ leadership, NABOR became part of Greater Southern, a broker-led statewide MLS startup in Louisiana.

Hayes provides leadership coaching to brokers through Initiative One®. He believes his greatest accomplishment in 2021 was utilizing the untapped talents of the Board of Directors and Association Executive Cynthia Tarver. He believes that leadership means empowering others with responsibility for a project and the authority to make tough decisions.

“My purpose is to help others become the best they can be,” says Hayes. “I pray that through these accomplishments others were given the ability to see how they can use their God-given talents to improve our industry.”
