Young Entrepreneur Recognized by National Association of Realtors

RISMEDIA, Oct. 1, 2007-Though the current housing market in Atlanta has caused many new home agents to struggle with sales, Drena Hollingsworth, owner of Hollingsworth Realty Group has not skipped a beat.

Hollingsworth started her company at the age of 27, and in just one year was named to the prestigious “30 Under 30” by the National Association of Realtors.

Hollingsworth began her real estate career at Harry Norman and when she opened her own company, all of her former clients went with her. In her first year of business, Hollingsworth increased her production by more than $2 million.

“One main reason the company received this award is due to our guarantees,” Hollingsworth said. “We guarantee days on market, pricing, communication with the client, negotiation amount and that the home will sell.”

Hollingsworth grew up in Calhoun, Georgia, attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a degree in marketing in 2001. She received her real estate license in 2002 after attending the Georgia Institute of Real Estate. After working for Harry Norman for four years, Hollingsworth started Hollingsworth Realty Group in 2006 with a dedication to exceeding customer expectations.

Hollingsworth, along with the other 29 finalists for “30 Under 30,” was selected from a record number of national applicants. Hollingsworth was chosen for her hard work, customer service, impressive profitability and dedication to the real estate industry.

Hollingsworth has numerous industry and professional affiliations which include: certified residential specialist; accredited buyer representative; President of Delta Gamma Alumni Chapter in Atlanta; Vistage; National Association of Women’s Business Owners; Founder of her BNI chapter (Business Networking International); and she plays ALTA tennis.
