Proxio Announces Substantial First Year Growth, Introduces Platinum Services for Real Estate Professionals

RISMEDIA, June 11, 2009-Proxio, one of the first international MLS and global referral networks, announces the launch of its new Platinum Package and latest milestones. Proxio is changing the face of international real estate by creating, for the first time, a completely borderless real estate market. Agents around the world now have the ability to market themselves and their listings globally, across borders, across cultures and across languages.

Since its official launch in April 2008, the pioneer in real estate social networking has grown to over 4,400 agencies across 65 countries with an inventory of 110,000+ listings worth over $55 billion. In just the last month, over 1,000 new agencies have joined Proxio adding an additional 24,000 agents to the network.

To meet the demands of its growing network, Proxio is introducing a Platinum Package, which offers real estate professionals even greater global visibility, to more quickly grow their global referral networks and capitalize on revenue sharing opportunities. As part of the new Platinum service, agents receive a banner ad, top placements in property and agent searches, a personalized mini-site to display listings in multiple languages to clients, and automatic distribution of listings to free websites worldwide. This new service is offered through the Proxio network for professionals who want to build their personal brand and internationalize their business within seconds.

“Given the current market conditions, real estate professionals need additional tools to help them market themselves more widely and build more robust referral networks,” says Janet Case, CEO and co-founder of Proxio. “We give real estate agents a unique competitive advantage by enabling them to market listings across borders and provide their clients with international exposure. Enabling agencies to better serve their customers helps them generate additional revenue.”

U.S. MLSs, associations, brokerages and media groups can also benefit from Proxio. According to the company, with a proprietary platform that operates in 11 languages and instantly translates real estate listings, Proxio can extend any real estate entity’s capabilities and turn them into a multilingual organization able to serve diverse clients and members overnight.

All levels of Proxio membership include the ability for the agent to have their profile in the Proxio international agent directory and the ability to search and e-mail listings in 11 different languages and over 20 currencies. Proxio’s Standard and Premium Packages are offered with additional services for less than $7 per month and less than $17 per month, respectively. Proxio’s Platinum Package is less than $50 per month.
