Fox & Roach Charities Ranks in Top 25 of Corporate Charitable Giving

RISMEDIA, June 19, 2009-Fox & Roach Charities, the charitable arm of Prudential Fox & Roach, REALTORS? headquartered in Devon, PA, was listed #23 on the Top 25 Corporate Charitable Contributors in the May, 2009 Philadelphia Business Journal.

“Fox & Roach Charities has maintained its philanthropic giving across the Greater Philadelphia Area for decades,” remarks Fox & Roach Charities President Gerry Griesser. “And we are proud that we find ourselves among many of the corporate giants across the Tri-State area,” he adds.

pfrcfboardmedAccording to the company, the list is based on charitable giving in 2007, where Fox & Roach Charities donated over $450,000 to needy non-profits in the communities the company serves. Griesser attended the 2009 Corporate Philanthropy Summit on May 5, 2009 to accept the award on Fox & Roach Charities’ behalf.

“I was humbled by all that the Delaware Valley continues to do and to be in the presence of the top 25 corporations in giving was a triumph,” says Griesser.

Fox & Roach Charities is a non-profit charitable organization focusing meaningful contributions of time, effort and finances toward service projects that address the needs of children and families in stressful life circumstances, especially their housing.

“We are so pleased to be able to continue our charitable giving to help those in need, especially in today’s economic climate,” adds Kassie Aungst, Fox & Roach Charities Director.

Fox & Roach Charities contributed over $417, 000, in the year 2008 to more than 175 local community organizations in the Greater Philadelphia and Tri-State area. Funds are raised through voluntary contributions from sales associates and employees through Prudential Fox & Roach real estate transactions and payroll donations to Fox & Roach Charities. In addition, Prudential Fox & Roach, REALTORS? sales associates make substantial contributions of time and effort to charities within the communities they serve.
