Dannie Walker Joins Prudential Northwest Properties

RISMEDIA, June 8, 2011–Bert Waugh, Jr., president of Prudential Northwest Properties, and chief operating officer Jason Waugh are proud to announce the addition of Dannie Walker to the leadership team. Walker will serve as Regional Team Coordinator and oversee the Bend, Sunriver and Prineville branch offices. She is charged with managing the Central Oregon region, expanding the firm’s presence in the market, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Walker holds CRB, CRS, GRI and ABR designations, possesses nearly thirty years of real estate experience, and is a past President of the Oregon Association of REALTORS®. Prior to joining Prudential Northwest Properties, she was Principal Broker/Owner of Walker & Associates and has an extensive background in management, brokerage ownership and property management. She currently serves as Director for the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS® and Chair of their Professional Standards Committee.

“Dannie is a wonderful addition to our leadership team and I’m proud to have her join us,” says Jason Waugh. “Our values are in alignment, she has great energy, and she’ll be a terrific asset as we grow the company and increase our presence in Central Oregon.”

“I am so pleased to have Dannie join Prudential Northwest Properties,” adds Bert Waugh, Jr., “She’s a fine person and the depth of her experience is so valuable. It’s a real pleasure to have her here with us.”

Walker is replacing Bob McClung, who is retiring from management. McClung was instrumental in expanding the Prudential Northwest Properties footprint in Central Oregon and in bringing Walker on board.  He will continue to represent home buyers and sellers in the Bend/Sunriver area during and after the transition process.

“I’ve been very active with the Oregon Association of REALTORS® for many years and have come to know some great brokers and owners throughout the state. Of those, not many have the reputation of Bert Waugh, Jr.,” says Walker, when asked why she accepted the position. “Through the OAR, I had the honor of working closely with long time Prudential brokers Bob McClung and Lee Dunn, and was always very impressed by their ethics, their knowledge, and their professionalism. Over the years I have come to know and respect many Prudential Northwest Properties brokers and managers, and after meeting Jason and the Resource Center support team in Portland, the decision to join the firm was an easy one.”
