Will 2013 Be Your Break-Out Year? Leaders to Discuss Success Strategies at RISMedia’s Power Broker Forum

Home Best Practices
May 19, 2013
Reading Time: 2 mins read

The Power Brokers have spoken: From shrinking inventories to stabilizing – even increasing! – home prices, the positive indicators continue to point toward a recovering real estate market. But today’s market – the ‘new normal’ of real estate – is taking shape on a whole new playing field. Many of the rules have changed along with the strategies for winning. Are you prepared to take advantage of the market’s nascent recovery as it builds steam? Do you know the best way to operate and connect with consumers in real estate’s new normal? At RISMedia’s 17th Annual Power Broker Forum, real estate’s leaders will exchange ideas for competing in the recovering market and making 2013 your break-out year.

This year’s Forum, “Make 2013 Your Break-Out Year,” will take place on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida from 1:30-3 p.m. in the West Building, Valencia Room W415BC.

RISMedia’s Power Broker Forum offers all NAR full-conference and day-conference attendees the opportunity to learn from those brokers in the trenches–learning best practices and competitive strategies.

Among the topics discussed will be:

• The current market landscape – why it’s time to put the downturn behind us
• The must-know market trends that have a direct impact on profitability
• How to guide your buyers through the lending environment and get them the financing they need
• How to take advantage of growth and expansion opportunities without putting yourself at risk
• Updating your marketing and tech strategies to make sure they’re hitting the target
• Redefining, understanding, and connecting with the new consumer mindset

This year’s moderators include John Featherston, president and CEO of RISMedia, and Rei Mesa, president and CEO of Prudential Florida Realty.

Panelists include: Tammy Bonnell, CEO of Exit Realty Corp. Interneational; Helen Hanna Casey, president of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services; Sherry Chris, CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, LLC; Todd Hetherington, CEO of NM Management, parent company of Century 21 New Millennium; and Margaret Kelly, CEO of RE/MAX.

Following the Power Broker Forum later that evening RISMedia will host its annual Power Broker Reception & Dinner honoring the most successful brokerages in the nation. This invitation-only event will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 7 p.m. at The Rosen Centre Hotel, Orlando, Florida.
