Real Estate Marketing Site Allows Agents to Target Potential Home Buyers

Reading Time: 3 mins read

TREBStore.com, a real estate marketing site powered by The Real Estate Book and RR Donnelley, provides real estate professionals proven designs for direct marketing along with the data tools necessary to make the process easy and effective.

The site, which originally launched in 2009, utilizes RR Donnelley’s proprietary graphics, mapping and mailing software. In addition, the agent has the ability to access listing photos and data housed on RealEstateBook.com. The site displays over 1.5 million listings across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.

“They can either upload their own photos, logos, etc., or agents can access their own listings’ photos and data from our site,” says Scott Dixon, CEO of NewPoint Media Group, the parent company of The Real Estate Book. “It makes it really, really, easy for them to create things like property brochures, postcards, and flyers. If they are on our site, they do not have to upload the photos again or write new copy. Because they have opted in to advertising options with us, this is just another avenue we have to offer. ”

In addition, the agent may now select demographically and geographically refined mailing lists at no additional charge to create highly targeted campaigns. “This allows the agent to maximize their efforts,” Dixon added. “They can choose a specific area down to the subdivision level and then filter their list by household income, the amount of time the consumer has owned the home, for example. This service is at no additional charge to the agent.”

Experienced real estate broker and marketer Cindy Reichardt of RR Donnelley created or consulted on the designs. “Cindy received designation from the Texas Association of REALTORS® to offer an accredited continuing education class using her experience with effective direct mail campaigns that sell homes,” Dixon said. “She’s seen these work for herself and other real estate agents. This prevents the agent from wasting money through trial and error on an ineffective design. If they have a design they have already found effective, they can also upload their own.”

Agents may create accounts to save their designs and save time on future orders, but there is no monthly fee to use the service. “Some sites like this have a monthly subscription fee that the agent is charged – whether they place an order or not,” Dixon said. “The agent can create a free account and only pay for the actual products ordered.”

Dixon says they are also very proud of the quality of the printed materials. “We send our completed designs to RR Donnelley, as we have in years past. The quality has always been top notch and the turn-around time amazingly quick. This is one of the advantages of working with the RR Donnelley.”

TREBStore also offers customized broker solutions. “We understand the need brokers have to maintain brand consistency. We can help them by creating a portal just for their agents that makes it easy for them to adhere to their style guidelines,” says Dixon.

“Top agents know that today, they have to do more than just place their listings on a listing aggregate site to gain new business. That’s like placing your name in the phone book. Someone can find you if they look hard enough,” Dixon says. “These high quality marketing materials and the ability to really target their direct mail efforts are the types of things that make a real difference in selling a home – and that’s why they win business over the average agent.”
