Title Resource Group’s Sunbelt Title Expands Operations in Florida

Home News

Reading Time: 2 mins read

Title Resource Group (TRG) announced recently the expansion of its Sunbelt Title operations in Florida into Brevard County through the acquisition of the assets of Security First Title & Escrow, LLC. The newly acquired company’s three offices in Melbourne, Merritt Island and Orlando, Fla., will now operate as Sunbelt Title Agency, which is owned and operated by TRG.

TRG is the title and settlement services subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp., and provides services to NRT LLC, Realogy’s company-owned residential real estate brokerage operation. In the past four months, NRT acquired three brokerage operations in Brevard County, in and around Melbourne and Merritt Island.

“This acquisition not only marks Sunbelt Title’s entrance into Brevard Country, but it also complements NRT’s existing residential brokerage operations to provide a full-service real estate experience to clients across Vero Beach, Melbourne, and Merritt Island,” says Don Casey, TRG’s president and CEO. “TRG is strategically focused on aligning its operations in markets where NRT has a presence, and this is another step toward that goal.”

“Today’s announcement represents our expansion into Brevard County, strengthening our footprint across the state,” says Robert Way, president of Sunbelt Title, which now has 42 offices throughout the state of Florida. “The team at Security First Title & Escrow shares a dedication to providing their clients with top notch personalized service, making them an excellent fit within Sunbelt Title and TRG’s family of companies.”

Karyn Wyce, former owner and manager of Security First Title & Escrow, will remain in her role overseeing the newly acquired Brevard County offices for Sunbelt Title.

“Sunbelt Title is a highly regarded company with a strong presence in Florida, and we are excited to become its gateway into serving clients across Brevard County,” Wyce says. “Customer service is the cornerstone of both firms’ success, and we are dedicated to upholding a strong reputation in the market.”
