2. Leverage NAR’s Existing International Network – NAR maintains bilateral partnerships with more than 80 trade associations, franchises and government entities in nearly 60 countries. Each year, NAR’s president-elect appoints a President’s Liaison to each country in which the Association maintains a bilateral partnership to act as an ambassador of sorts, facilitating relationships and information sharing between NAR members and their international counterparts. Connect with the President’s Liaison of your country of interest and leverage his/her knowledge and connections to get your name out there.

3. Expand Your Online Presence – Go beyond the traditional social media strategies. Find relocation forums (Google “USA expat forums”), consider writing guest posts for travel and retirement sites, write articles on industry sites, and engage with international real estate professionals through their social media sites.

4. Realtor.com® International – Send potential buyers or referral agents to your listings on www.realtor.com/international. The site already has your listings translated into 11 languages, and features currency and measurement conversion, so international buyers can now search listings in their preferred format. It also features listings from outside the U.S., increasing the visibility of the site around the world.
