The Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS® (EBCBOR) Care Foundation raised over $11,000 for local charities at its Annual Golf & Tennis Outing, the company recently announced.
“This fundraising event for the REALTORS® Care Foundation was an overwhelming success,” says Annekee Brahver-Keely, 2017 president of EBCBOR’s Care Foundation and of Russo Real Estate. “This year we added tennis to the now third Annual Golf Outing. Showing once again that REALTORS® do more than sell houses, we had a day of fun, sports, networking and relaxation all while raising funds for local charities falling within our guidelines of providing food, housing, education and shelter. I am enthusiastic and optimistic about our fourth Annual Golf & Tennis Outing, which will take place summer 2018.”

The event, held at the Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, N.J., gave golfers, tennis players, and participants the opportunity to enjoy a day of sport and charity. Following golf and tennis, attendees gathered for cocktails, dinner and an awards ceremony, where they networked with colleagues and industry partners. During the cocktail hour, all participants got the chance to take part in the silent auction where players and guests were able to bid on and purchase unique sport and film memorabilia.

The 2017 grant application is available at www.ebcborcarefoundation.org for local organizations interested in applying. Applications will be accepted until October 31. All grant recipients will be notified in December 2017.
