After founding Buyside nearly a decade ago, in 2022, Charles Williams realized an opportunity for renewing its value proposition and renamed his company Percy. Why the change? During the previous year, Williams spearheaded a successful round of strategic investment from top mortgage and real estate firms totaling $10 million in funds targeted for marketing, sales and system resources. Among these new investor partners are Black Knight and Howard Hanna.

According to Williams, his ongoing success is propelled by “hearing directly from people on how Percy (formerly Buyside) has had such a positive impact on their personal lives, enabling real estate agents to win more listings and commissions and supporting homeowners as they become more educated on building personal wealth through homeownership and its related financial decisions.”
