Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced that ERA Bogany Properties has merged its operations with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene effective September 1, 2012. Shad Bogany has led ERA Bogany Properties to be the top ERA broker in Houston and one of the top ERA franchises in the country.
“Shad is highly respected within the real estate industry both as a REALTOR® leader and top-producing agent,” says Mark Woodroof, who co-owns Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene with Marilyn Eiland. “We are excited to welcome Shad and his associates to our team.”
Bogany’s office at 4710 Bellaire Boulevard will become the new home of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene’s Bellaire Market Center.
“J.J. Molaison, manager of our Inner Loop office, will be responsible for the new market center and is looking forward to growing our influence in the area,” said Eiland.
A leader in the industry, Bogany will soon be installed as chairman of the Texas Association of Realtors. He served as chairman of the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) in 2002, and in 2004, he was named HAR Realtor of the Year. He is active in the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, an organization formed by African-American real estate professionals, and he served on the Board of the Texas Department of Housing for seven years.
In 2011, Bogany was ranked by the Houston Business Journal as No. 6 in the Top 25 Residential Real Estate Individuals in closed transactions.
Bogany hosts The Real Estate Corner radio show on KCOH AM 1430, which airs every Tuesday, 6pm-7pm. He said he will continue to host the show that is now in its 21st year. “My focus on the show is to educate the public and to be a watchdog for the consumer in the areas of real estate,” he said.
