Thad Wong

Thad Wong is co-founder and co-CEO of @properties, the Chicago area’s and Illinois’ largest residential brokerage firm and among the top 12 nationwide. In addition, Wong is a partner in Proper Title, Illinois’ second-largest independent title insurance brokerage, and a venture capital investor in several real estate technology companies.

In 2019, @properties launched pl@tform, a proprietary end-to-end suite of technology tools for brokerage CRM, transaction management and marketing. The company also entered a partnership with Ansley Atlanta Real Estate, opened seven new offices and recruited over 300 new agents in the Chicago area.

“One motto we have always lived by is, ‘If you’re not growing, you’re dying.’ @properties continues to grow, and not just by our geographic footprint or number of agent licenses. We are continually expanding our technology offerings and making them better. We are growing in terms of the way we view the role of the agent and the importance of offering service and value beyond the real estate transaction, and we are growing in our personal and professional relationships with our fellow agents, staff, strategic partners and clients. It is an exciting and competitive time in brokerage, and this motto has never been more important to the survival and success of the independent real estate firm,” Wong says.

Wong has received several awards from the real estate and business communities. He and @properties have raised over $1 million through the company’s nonprofit group, @gives back. Wong and his wife, a successful REALTOR®, live in Chicago with their four children.
