Leading the world’s fastest-growing real estate franchisors, Denver-based RE/MAX, LLC, tops other real estate franchises in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2019 Top Fastest-Growing Franchises list.
More than 1,000 franchisors applied to the 40th annual national ranking, with RE/MAX named the fastest-growing real estate franchise brand for the sixth consecutive year.
“The RE/MAX model continues to revolutionize the real estate industry, one franchise at a time,” says RE/MAX CEO Adam Contos. “Our franchisees are truly the best in the business, and this recognition reflects the success-driven, customer-focused culture they’ve helped create for the RE/MAX network.”
In 2018, Contos led the global real estate franchisor through multiple technology upgrades, including the acquisition of Denver-based web design and technology company booj. Earlier this year, RE/MAX announced a new service model better tailored to its U.S.-owned franchises and launched a new national ad campaign that includes an industry-first tool for agents: a customizable video generator.
Also on the Entrepreneur list: Motto Franchising, LLC, a second member of the RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. family of brands, placed No. 72. Established in 2016, Motto Mortgage sold 50 franchises in its inaugural year, and in just 23 months sold its 100th franchise, solidifying its spot on the 2019 fastest-growing franchise list.
The fastest-growing rankings are based on the number of new franchise units added in the U.S. and Canada from July 2017 to July 2018, as verified by Entrepreneur magazine, with ties broken based on percentage growth. Entrepreneur published the latest fastest-growing list in its Feb. 2019 issue—a follow-up to the publication’s annual Franchise 500 survey that ranked RE/MAX at No. 15 on the list. RE/MAX was also ranked as the leading real estate franchise in Entrepreneur’s 2019 Franchise 500®—the 16th time in 20 years that RE/MAX was ranked No. 1 in the real estate category.
