California Real Estate Brokers Partners With Broker Public Portal, Invests in Home-Search Platform Cribio

MetroList listings to power ad-free, broker-centric home search experience as C.R.E.B. joins Broker Public Portal as a unit holder.

California Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (C.R.E.B.), majority shareholder of MetroList MLS, has announced a partnership with Broker Public Portal (BPP) to bring MetroList’s listings to Cribio.com (Cribio), the organization’s industry-owned home-search platform.

As part of the agreement, C.R.E.B. has also become a unit holder in Broker Public Portal, signaling its investment in an industry-led, broker-centric model for online home search. 

According to the company, Cribio is designed to provide a more transparent and accurate home-search experience, offering up-to-date property data and direct connections between consumers and listing agents. The platform operated without advertising, lead diversion or paid placement, aligning with Fair Display Guidelines. 

Through the partnership, MetroList’s MLS data will be integrated into Cribio, expanding the platform’s national footprint while supporting a consumer-first experience that emphasizes data accuracy and broker representation, C.R.E.B. says. 

“As brokers, we have a responsibility to ensure our listings are showcased in environments that align with our values and preserve the integrity of our data,” said Isom Coleman, president of C.R.E.B. “Partnering with Broker Public Portal gives us the opportunity to regain control, placing our listings on a platform that prioritizes transparency, data accuracy, and direct connections between the consumer and the professionals who represent those properties. This partnership enables us to reconnect with homebuyers at the right moment without the pressure of third-party lead diversion, ensuring a more authentic and meaningful relationship with our clients.” 

The initiative reflects C.R.E.B.’s broader efforts to modernize listing distribution and maintain great control over how property data is presented online.
