Jay R. Chernoff has assumed the role of Managing Broker of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty Northeast Branch Sales Office in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the company has announced.
“It’s great to be back in the Fort Lauderdale market,” says Chernoff. “I am thrilled for the opportunity to grow the Fort Lauderdale Northeast Branch Sales Office and assist the Sales Professionals with their continued success.”
Chernoff joined the company in August 2014 as Managing Broker of the Delray Beach Branch Sales Office in Palm Beach County.
Raised in South Florida, Chernoff started his real estate career after graduating from The University of South Florida with a degree in Business Administration. His successful career has been focused in commercial and residential sales and management, most recently with Coldwell Banker.
Chernoff’s experience serving as the Chairman and President of the REALTOR Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB) has kept him acutely aware of the wants and needs of the South Florida Realtors and customers.
Chernoff was recognized by RAMB as Realtor of the Year and received the Exceptional Leadership Award; in addition to the YMCA Volunteer of the Year Award and the American Cancer Society Outstanding Leadership Award.
