The National Association of REALTORS®’ (NAR) has announced this week that its new .REALTOR top-level domain will be available starting Oct. 23, 2014 to both members of NAR and the Canadian Real Estate Association.
Why is it important for Realtors® to claim their .REALTOR domains? NAR has released this video that explains how online content is becoming more organized and how .REALTOR provides members with a clear direction to steer consumers toward REALTORS®, the most trusted source of real estate information.

Those who participated in last year’s pre-sign-up opportunity—some 80,000 REALTORS®, according to NAR—will be able to register their .REALTOR domain 72 hours in advance of the Oct. 23 membership-wide launch.
Meantime, get ready by visiting www.About.REALTOR to access FAQs, naming guidelines and other great resources. The first 500,000 members who register will receive a FREE .REALTOR domain for one year.
