ReferralExchange is donating $15,000 to a family in Puerto Rico to purchase a roof following damage from Hurricane Maria last year.
ReferralExchange partnered with Giveback Homes, Indesovi PR and The Ricky Martin Foundation on the endeavor, which will benefit a single mother, Isy, and her two children. The family has been living in a partially rebuilt home since August 2017; the roof is expected to be finished by January 2019.
“We are grateful for companies like ReferralExchange who put social impact on their priority list,” says Caroline Pinal, co-founder of Giveback Homes, which is participating in the Puerto Rico rebuild. One-hundred percent of each contribution to Giveback Homes is tax-deductible, and goes directly to the field.
This is the second roof ReferralExchange has funded this year. In June 2018, the company brought out over 80 employees to put a new roof on the home of retired Navy veteran Glenn and JoAnne Claghorn in Sacramento, Calif.Â
